Our Experience at Supernova Bern
Supernova looks understated but inviting from the outside. Inside, you'll find a stylish interior. The color scheme is simple, mainly using gray tones on the walls and furniture. This creates an elegant atmosphere.
Comfortable benches line the wall, perfect for relaxing, while chairs are placed opposite. A subtle detail: the slightly different heights of the benches and chairs add to the relaxed atmosphere.
The Supernova's menu is intentionally concise. It combines different culinary styles. At lunchtime, the focus is on light dishes like salads and bowls, complemented by classics like pasta, tartar, and the Signature Burger. In the evening, the menu offers more refined dishes. The Picanha Steak, a current food trend, really stands out.
I chose a salad, followed by the Signature Burger. First up was bread with a flavorful herb butter. The salad was fresh and crisp, and I appreciated that the dressing was served separately. The burger, served in a dark bun, was cooked medium and tasted delicious. The fresh French fries (Pommes Allumettes) were the perfect side. Everything was perfect for me! My dining companion's sweet potato fries arrived a bit late, for which the friendly server apologized. The service was warm and attentive overall.
I enjoyed my visit to Supernova. The value for money is reasonable at lunchtime, while the evening menu has higher prices.
