Visit to Arlequin in Bern
At Arlequin, guests can sit either indoors or outside on the street, but we chose to sit inside. The restaurant has a rustic style that matches the menu, which features many traditional Swiss dishes.
The house specialty is fondue, so we ordered fondue as well. For four people, we ordered two different types: one "Freiburger Style (Moitié-Motié)" and one "Piccante (with cayenne pepper and Dijon mustard)."
The Moitié-Motié fondue was very tasty and had a creamy consistency, not too runny. It was served with bread and potatoes. The Piccante fondue, which my dining companions ordered, had a slightly special flavor, which is expected with a fondue that includes mustard.
During our visit, the service was always very friendly and uncomplicated. We also had a conversation with the host, for example, about the clientele at Arlequin. Apparently, the crowd is made up of about 50% locals and 50% tourists, which is to be expected given its location in Bern's old town. We definitely felt very comfortable. At the end, the host even offered us a Limoncello.

Directions to Arlequin in Bern
From Bern Station, the best way is to take bus No. 12 towards "Bern, Zentrum Paul Klee" and get off at the Rathaus stop. From there, it’s about 100 meters on foot to the restaurant.
