Our Visit Experience at Ristorante Warteck Bern
We were served quickly and were able to order promptly. For a starter, I chose a green salad. It consisted mainly of lettuce. The tasty Italian dressing was well proportioned – just the right amount, not too much, not too little. For the main course, I ordered a juicy sirloin steak with herb butter, fries, and fresh vegetables. The steak was cooked perfectly pink, the fries were tasty, and the vegetables were crisp-fresh. I was particularly impressed that the vegetables were perfectly drained – a detail often neglected in many restaurants but done exemplarily at Warteck!
To finish, I treated myself to a classic cassata. Garnished with cream and a touch of maraschino, it rounded off the meal perfectly. When I didn’t finish everything, the charming owner humorously scolded me to clean my plate – much to the amusement of my companions. I gladly complied.
Overall, Warteck impresses with its coherent overall package: simple interior, a varied menu including different lunch specials, and great value for money. In summer, the terrace invites you to relax outside. Visit Warteck and try one of their delicious lunch menus!
