Restaurant Kirchenfeld is one of the most well-known elegant restaurants in Bern. It's located near the old town and the Kirchenfeld Bridge, making it a great place for a special occasion or a business lunch/dinner. During our recent visit, we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant's beautiful garden.

Visit to Restaurant Kirchenfeld in Bern
From the outside, the restaurant looks quite plain, but inside, guests will find a stylish atmosphere. The garden is a real hidden gem if you want to enjoy a meal outdoors in good weather. The service during our meal was attentive and quick, but not very warm.
On the menu, we found classic dishes, including the creamed veal, which was very well prepared. The Rösti (Swiss potato fritters) that came with it also tasted good. However, I almost felt like it wasn't homemade. The portion sizes were rather small. With the coffee, we got a very tasty caramel, which was a perfect finishing touch. It should be noted that the prices for the overall experience were quite high.

Directions
Restaurant Kirchenfeld is easy to reach. The tram stop "Helvetiaplatz" (lines 6, 7, and 8) is only a few minutes walk from the restaurant. It's about a 15-minute walk from the city center.
