NOA in Bern is located a bit outside the city in an unassuming building. Inside, guests are treated to a very cozy interior and great food!

From the outside, NOA is unremarkable. Even the elevator that takes guests to the restaurant is inconspicuous. Upon entering, the interior impresses with a grill over an open fire and beautiful wooden tables. The service was exceptionally friendly.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the lunch menus offered at NOA. The lunch menu featured an entrecôte, including soup and dessert. The soup was served in small pots that were a bit awkward to spoon out, but the soup itself was tasty. The entrecôte was very good – my medium was closer to medium-rare, which wasn’t a problem for me. It came with delicious fries. For dessert, there was vanilla ice cream with plum compote in a mason jar – a perfect combination.

We’ll definitely be going back!
