Visit to Grottino an der Aare

During our visit in the summer, it was hot and sunny, so we were grateful for the parasols that provided shade.
The Grottino is on the grounds of a bocce club, so the kitchen is probably not very large. As a result, the menu is small, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The wine selection is also quite limited, but the prices are very reasonable.
I chose the Lughanigetta, served with risotto, and started with a salad. The salad was flawless, and the Lughanigetta that followed was nicely spiced. The risotto was creamy and slightly runny, just as it should be. I really enjoyed the meal.
Afterward, the waitress brought the brownie I had ordered for dessert, which was just as delicious as the rest of the food.
The service was very friendly and even joked with us, although the overall stay took a bit of time.
