During our summer visit it was hot and the sun was shining brightly. So we were grateful for the umbrellas that provided shade.

Grottino is located on the grounds of a boccia club, so the kitchen is certainly not very large. That’s why the menu at Grottino is small, which isn’t a bad thing. The wine selection is unfortunately also rather limited, but the prices are quite reasonable.

I went for the Luganigetta, accompanied by a risotto. I ordered a salad as a starter beforehand. The salad was flawless, and the Luganigetta that followed was really nicely spiced. The risotto alongside was also beautifully creamy and slightly fluid, just as it should be. So I really enjoyed the meal.

Afterwards, our server brought the brownie I had ordered for dessert. It was as delicious as the rest of the meal.

The service was really very friendly and up for a bit of fun.
