Inside, it is spacious: around 120 to 130 guests fit into the Terra room or the special Mare room. During our lunchtime visit, the front part of the restaurant was lively while the other rooms stayed quiet. The highlight of our lunch: a specialty pasta from Sardinia in a creamy sauce with sausage meat, wild fennel and artichokes. The small pasta pearls are flavourful and aromatic – a dish you will happily eat plenty of. Dishes like this are what set the Azzurro apart from your average pizzeria.

The menu has even more to offer: alongside the Mare and pizza menus, a seasonal specialties card tempts with dishes such as braised beef. The wood-fired pizza completes the classic Italian repertoire.
